English: Hajj and Umrah are two sacred pilgrimages that Muslims undertake to the holy city of Makkah. While Hajj is obligatory once in a lifetime for those who are able, Umrah is a Sunnah that can be performed at any time of the year.

اردو: حج اور عمرہ دو مقدس عبادات ہیں جو مسلمان مکہ مکرمہ میں انجام دیتے ہیں۔ حج زندگی میں ایک بار صاحب استطاعت پر فرض ہے، جبکہ عمرہ ایک عظیم سنت ہے جو سال کے کسی بھی وقت ادا کی جا سکتی ہے۔

🧭 How to Perform Umrah | عمرہ کا طریقہ

  1. Niyyah & Ihram | نیت اور احرام:
    English: Make intention and wear Ihram from the Miqat.
    اردو: نیت کریں اور میقات سے احرام باندھیں۔
  2. Talbiyah | تلبیہ:
    لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
    Translation: Here I am, O Allah, here I am. You have no partner, here I am. Verily, all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty. You have no partner.
  3. Tawaf | طواف:
    English: Perform 7 rounds around the Kaaba.
    اردو: خانہ کعبہ کا سات مرتبہ طواف کریں۔
  4. Safa-Marwah (Sa’i) | صفا مروہ کی سعی:
    English: Walk 7 times between Safa and Marwah.
    اردو: صفا اور مروہ کے درمیان سات چکر لگائیں۔
  5. Halq or Taqsir | حلق یا تقصیر:
    English: Men shave or shorten hair, women cut a fingertip’s length.
    اردو: مرد بال منڈوائیں یا چھوٹے کریں، خواتین انگلی کے برابر بال کاٹیں۔

🤲 Duas for Umrah | عمرہ کی دعائیں

  • Dua while entering Masjid al-Haram:
    اللّٰهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
  • Dua during Tawaf:
    رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
  • Dua between Safa and Marwah:
    إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ
